About Me

Hi, I'm Adam.

I launched Prune and Bloom in 2006 with the aim of improving all the gardens I maintained through the power of pruning.

By pruning plants at optimum times of year, in the most suitable way for each plant, the best results can be achieved for both the flowers that follow and the health of the whole garden.

Since then, by seeing the potential in every plant and viewing your garden as a complete picture, I now aim to help your garden reach its best through thoughtful design - creating beautiful new spaces that reflect you, your home and the wider landscape.

Whether you need easy maintenance, productive growing areas, or a peaceful spot to unwind, my aim is to help create an uplifting garden which connects you to nature and becomes the place where you want to be.

We thrive when we're connected to nature.

Every outdoor space - garden, balcony, courtyard - becomes a bridge back to that connection, benefiting us and the world around us.

What's important

Plants

Understanding your plants. Learning about what your plants and soil needs can help them to flourish.

How everything works together

Gardens work best when every part connects. Exploring how sight lines, seasons, and flow come together creates spaces that feel right from every angle.

Attention to Detail

Small things can make big differences. Perfectly positioned plants, the way sunlight catches a leaf - these details can turn an ordinary garden into something special.

Understanding

Gardens are deeply personal, they hold memories, hopes, and hard work. I aim to work with what matters to you.
